Do Not Trust "POCKET_NANO"
 

Hi guys,
Ive been a farily good member on the board and I wanted to warn you about another member and ebay seller called "Pocket_Nano" . He recently was talking about creating a website so I offered him a helping hand in return for a mp4 player. I worked day and night on his website which I completed within his time frame and got all the errors fixed out. However, soon after the website got done Pocket_Nano has disappeared - not answering any messages, blocking me and trying to get away from what he owes. He is truly dishonest. I have waited a week to hear a reply from him and still no luck. So I personally wanted to warn you guys to beware of Pocket_Nano as he is very dishonest and scammed me of what he owed for all the work I did. I have all the source files of the website, PSD's, Paypal Codes, you name it for those who do not believe. I just want Pocket_Nano to realize that he isnt going to get anywhere by stealing from people. I do hope that you do realize that my experience should be a lesson to everyone. Ive been honest and truthful and I do hope you guys will understand the situation.

why dont you just shut down his site. I know you put a lot of blood,sweat, and tears in the site, but you should get some enjoyment out of disabling it. If you dont want to disable it, make some modifacations to it. Don't let one low life piss you off.

Yeah, I would put down his site because it was supposed to be a deal, but he changed the access code, so now all I have is a story to tell you guys. I just want to warn you about doing business with him, because he cannot be trusted.

Sorry to hear this... I hope that maybe he had an emergency or something and he´ll come back and pay what he owes... This is a community and we are not supposed to be ripping each other off... Good Luck with all this bsaylors...

Hey Weecho, yeah I totally understand. I didnt want to attack him as such but I have been quite patient. Ive waited over a week for a reply from him. And the only reason I know he is avoiding me is because he used to be online 10 hours a day when I was working on the site but as soon as I got done he hasnt showed up however he keeps logging into the forum all the time and keeps updating the website and adding to his ebay auctions so I know he comes online all the time but just blocked me.

What is the adress?

I too would like to see the address of the site... maybe you should tell admin about the problem... maybe admin could talk to the guy... and you should screw the guy over some way bsaylors.. that damned bastard...

Hey the address is at http://www.pocket-nano.com . It took me 4 days to do the site as he wanted everything changed over and over again. I even made him 8 different banners and all the images were done by me. I set up a cart for him, a live tech support chat and a downloads section. Everything was done to his liking and as soon as he got it, he left. Thanks for showing me support guys, I do hope admin reads this and helps me out.

Also Weecho, there is no way I can really screw him up as he changed the password to the Ftp and everything that I had set up for him. If he was an honest guy there would be no need for that, as I had no intetions to do him harm if we had an agreement but obviously he had something else on his mind.

hey im really sorry about this (it just pisses me off when i hear crap like this happening)

i did a little digging so apparently he has his domain registered at Schlund and Partners where you may speak with the registrar and see if they can take it down. Tell them about the agreement and try to obtain his address.

he is also paypal verified under the name, support@pocket-nano.com, so they also have his address. following the filing of complaints, they may give it to you.

you might want to fill out a form at http://www.ic3.gov/ and Federal Trade Commision or call 1-877-FTC-HELP to get government to investigate.

you can also distribute the code/content for other sellers to use so they do better than him or you may be able to get him on intellectual materials infringement. i dont mean to be particularly malicious, but you could also distribute his information and let people have at it.

Hey Bliushift, thanks for the very helpful post. The domain he registered at 1and1.com based on my suggestion of the domain. I can obtain his address, however I do plan on filing a complaint with paypal. Thanks so much for your advice, I will go through with what you have stated. Thanks again!

I am going to give him two days to respond and make up for it if he is around. Pocket_Nano if you are reading the forum, as I have emailed you many times and messaged you on yahoo, I would like for you to contact me so we can resolve this. I had no option but to notify everyone on the forum of your actions.

To Everyone: I have tried to contact Pocket_Nano many times (I even have all the yahoo conversations we had that included the mention of this deal) but maybe by the posting of this message he will gain attention of the post and try and get in contact with me. In the mean time, I really appreciate your help and all I can say is do not do business with pocket_nano, because you never know if he is going to be honest.

First let me begin by saying this person is so full of shit and have all you people beleiving him when what you are about to read is the TRUTH!. This person bsaylors contacted me on this forum thru the private message feature and asked me if I have thought about building me a website to sell my mp4 players. I said yes as you can see by my other post that infact I asked for suggestions of a domain name for it. As to his statement he suggested my domain is a lie. I have used pocket_nano as my screen name and in my eBay auctions so you can see he is lying again. The original agreement was to make a website in exchange for 1 of my mp4 players. And to show this is the truth just scroll up and you'll see he says this himself in these post here. So I said great and purchased hosting and my domain www.pocket-nano.com and we begin to work on it. I did all text on the website, come up with the download section and the live support he mentioned and all he did is FTP all the code I gave him onto my server. All my ideas. He made a template and we put it all together. Then after the website was about finished he starts messaging me with this SCAM he come up with that he owes $1,100 in school fee's and needs money instead of the MP4 Player as we original agreed on. And he says he needs this in a couple days. I said man dude that sucks and tried to brush it off as its not my problem what this person owes others. The instinct that tells me he's a SCAMMER made my stay off yahoo until his deadline passed. As soon as I do come back online thursday the following week he messages me right away and says hey they gave me until monday now to pay my fee's I dont expect you to pay the whole $1,100 or 3 or 4 hundred but something. Who the hell does this person think he is. Thats what I am thinking right I mean who in this forum wouldnt after agreeing on a trade for a Mp4 player. I also have our Yahoo messages saved so he can not lie about this either. The bottom line is I havent been online in awhile and when I do come online I read all this. HELL NO!. To prove it look at his last few post were he brags about getting his new player. If he has no money and needs to pay school fee's how did he purchase this new 1.8 player he is bragging about should be coming in the mail tomorrow. See he is full of it!. I think he purchased this other player then thought he was going to Scam me out of some money. THAT IS THE BOTTOM LINE!. If he gets anything now after telling all this bullshit it'll be a MP4 Player that was originally agreed upon. And thats if he is lucky. I can also show you were he sent 10 messages a day every day saying man my deadline is coming up and I need that money. Even at times when I just talked to him the day before. He thinks nobody has a life away from the internet and should be there when he comes looking. Now beleive who you want but there is always 2 sides to a story!.

By the way I am printing all our conversations on yahoo and can easily fax them to paypal and my hosting company or whoever else needs to see them in my defense. So dont go digging yourself into something you can not backup or get out of.

Listen Guys I do not think this is the right place to be having this disscussion you need to get together and sort this out between yourselves not in a Public Forum. I am going to lock this topic and may even delete it after consulting Admin.
