Default Anyone know where to buy extra chargers?

I just posted how I got my 1 returned unit replaced that was for my girlfriend, and 1 extra unit for myself.

One of the usb cables doesnt want to connect to charge. If you wiggle it, the usb screen shows up, but just very quickly, and flashes, then goes away.

I tested the cables and the cable charges both units fine and the usb icon shows up. The other its not connecting properly somehow.

Is there a way to test for shorts in the wiring, or maybe the part that goes into the unit is at fault. The good charges plugs into the mp3 player on bottom very tight, the other is somewhat loose. Maybe the connectors are not making contact? I was thinking of using pliers and squeezing down on the connection piece just a little, hoping to make it a little more snug.

If there is not a way to test it, where can I get a backup charger? I am not paying to send the charger back to hong kong again from the usa! haha

Thanks!
-Ryan

Rocker81, I notice some dealars sell players that do not have charger units but offer them for an extra $5.00 so that may be somewhere to start otherwise a Digital Camera store or Mobile Phone store may be able to help you with a new cord at least.

Default inexpensive charger reaplcement:

If you think the little USB charger that came w/ your MP4 is not working, here's a great replacement:

Zip-Linq - ZIP-PWR-X2 - $6.99 at Buy.com, eligible for free ship. This is the best price I've seen on these, especially if you can meet the $25 minimum & get free shipping.

This gizmo lets you charge any USB-chargeable device from either a 120v household outlet, OR from a 12v car lighter-type socket.

So it's like getting a bonus car charger for your MP4 player for free.

If, on the other hand, your little USB/charger cable is bad, you need to get a "USB Type A to 5-pin USB MINI Type B". These are fairly easy to find on eBay for just a couple dollars.

Make sure it's a 5-pin (or whatever # of pins your player's connector may have). Most MP4 players out there use a 5-pin, but there are a few that use 4-pin.

I hope this all helps.
