Bobby21,
It's all a bit like Russian Roulette, there is no telling when the gun will go off.

It has been done before but it is not common. I have a 1.5 nano clone 3.5.35 I use as a lab rat and try different things on it and it does not matter if I kill it because I have the firmware I need to restore it. The one thing I have never been able to do with it is upgrade it to 3.5.37 and I must have tried more than 20 and everytime it dies sometimes I can just reload the original firmware and some times it needs dismanteling. I have found 3 other 3.5.35 that work with it out of 50+.

It all depends on if you are prepare to take the risk. I have another player that as yet I still have not recovered and whenever I find a new firmware I give it a jolt but no heart beat yet.

hmmm..looks like it involves purely risk taking..i dun wanna lose my player !! so i guess i'll just be happy with what i have for now...who knows if some good people make more interesting themes for my version of firmware.Cheers !

Bobby21,
Bobby21,
I have seen a copy of your firmware version and the theme is pretty sad. It is also a tough one to theme because the menu background does not change from screen to screen just the icons so the only way to theme it is really a more tastful version of the same layout.
Unfortunatly it is tough building a theme if you do not have a player that supports it as you need to be able to load it and test the layout etc.
