Re: 2gb is actually 2gb
You'll have to format eventually....
It's best to find out now than later on. It's very difficult to find a legit 4GB MPx player(not trying to put a damper on your purchase). I only have a 1GB player. I will be getting a 2GB soon, but want to wait alittle till they are more common. There are sellers out there boasting a "8 GB" player, but we know it doesn't exist at the moment and certainly not for the USD$100 it's selling it for as well. 4GB players are not as common either unfortunately. |
Re: 2gb is actually 2gb
What would be easier, open it or format..?
I used Normal Format thats not good enough =-0 i read if its a fake If a chip is stated as having 1gigaBIT .....(in manufacturer white paper), this is actually equal to 128 true mb. SO.... 2 gigaBIT=256mb, 3 gigaBIT=384mb, 4 gigaBIT= 512mb, 8 gigaBIT = 1024mb or 1 true gigaBYTE. .... I put 530mb++ on it already Atleast you say theres some legit 4gb =-0 rare... btw..--Disk Tool- do i download? |

MP3 Player Disk Tool is part of the MP3 Player Utilities when you install it. Try using that to format your player. There is an option for "low" format. |
I cant format using Disk Tool im getting an error

What's the error? Have you tried formatting it from Windows Explorer as well? |

Can you create another post for your problem? It's starting to pull away from the original topic. |

I just made some 500mb zip files and copied them to the player. Then copied them back to the pc and tested them. They where corrupted. :( Mine was listed as a 4 gig also but turned out to me 2gb.
