A few mpx questions
1. What format do you have your music in on your player ? i use 64kbps, lame mp3 encoded music files
2. how do you make a FULL dump of your firmware ? do you just do a normal dump with sires then repair it ? 3. what's the cheapest chi-pod you have seen ? 4. how many songs have you crammed onto your mpx player ? got 590 jammed on mine, with 30 minutes of video as well |
I use 192kbit & 256kbit mp3's, also use OGG. Works good. I don't know how many songs you can fit, mine is a 2GB player. I have mostly videos in mine.
Haven't had a go at dumping the firmware yet. But might get around to it soon. I got mine for about $AUD110 delivered...1.8" screen, 2Gb, black colour. |
Re: A few mpx questions
i used to use 128, 192 & 256 kbps mp3's, but found that i still get the same quality with 64kbps (crappy chi-pod earphones) as i did with larger kbps sizes. haven't tried ogg yet, but my chi-pod seems to support it
110 delivered is a good price...mine was 140 delivered, but now i've found a new place that will do it for 40-50 bucks cheaper delivered |
