how do i find out my board no without taking the player apart?

geostar, Sorry there is no other way, in most cases it is printed on the board but it could be anywhere like under the LCD screen. Some players have no board markings at all.

thanks 4 the quick reply. i dont want to take it apart incase i lose any screws ect. i will just have to be carefull not to kill it

Hi Geostar i have looked at my board and there are no markings on the board.
My player looks like your one also bought from ebay.Do you have a backup of its firmware if so could you send it to me please thanks :lol:
