Re: Games on a non game firmware?

Many manufacturers cut costs and do the shortcut way by loading the same type of firmware for different players.
Even for those players that don't support games or FM, the manufacturers just load firmwares with games & FM. The basic functions still work, MP3, AMV, etc. Some players would appear to have the games and FM menu, but as their player's hardware do not support it, these functions don't exist at all.

Mhh thx(Both)
Ill try it and you may know an other program then waterlily because it delete's al setting when loading my firmware

And it saves As .scd or something that's not supported in Firmware updater

Hit, With Waterlily you have to use the Download button to load the firmware straight to your player you can not save as a firmware file.

Hit,
There is no way to add games to your existing firmware, the only way you could do it is if you found a firmware with games that worked with your player.
This is very risky as you have about a 99% chance of bricking your player, so be sure to backup your firmware and be prepared for the fact that if you do brick it you may not be able to recover it.
