I bought that there for the price stated+shipping+insurance and i was wondering if anyone had a similar one.

What quality of video should i expect, poor? It says it plays MpegI and II is this right?

Always good to ask questions.

I've got a similar player.

It can play majority of video files, however, the catch is (also stated on the auction) that it needs to be "converted to AMV (Software included)". It won't play MPEG I/II in it's native form, needs to be converted to .AMV firstly.

Quality of video is not too bad. Since you have a 1.8" player too, it will actually be quite good cause the picture won't be so squashed up. Just remember that you are converting a video file from it's native form to one that conforms to the .AMV format, so you will loose the quality from the original.

So would a episode of lost/prisonbreak/24 etc be watchable if i converted it from divx to amv? or would it be almost unbearable?

Sorry guest is me, i didn't realise i wasnt logged in :shock:

I have another model, but the screen is 1.8'' as the one you ask for, and I've been watching almost all the season of Scrubs while travelling by bus, and I found it very comfortable... also the compression ratio is very good, so you can have a 700MB movie converted into a 250MB .AMV file...

If you want to watch videos, I think its a very good option

Well maybe but i load my battery and i can do one week with it as:
1. i dont always got my mp4/mp3 on
2.Screen gets black when playing a sound for an minute so that saves power too

Well at my mp4/mp3 player i got fucking bad earphones(They always fall of my ears)
But i baught some and the sound is amazing!!

the audio quality is good, the video playback is good and actually depends on the quality of the original file, you can watch videos clearly, if you experience videos jerking or the picture is bad, its not due to the player but due to bad converting.

Check your player when you get it, try and copy 2gb worth of stuff, but then try and access all 2gb worth of stuff, you don't need to do this on the player, just access the files you copied on your player via windows explorer and try to open/play them, if they all work, then you have a real 2gb player, if you get any error messages, you got a hacked player.

If you get a hacked player, don't alter it, contact the ebay seller and send it back and get your money back.
