i assume your memory chip is K9WAG08U1A ? In your other post you mentioned that your player can't save when you reach around 2.3GB? According to the Samsung datasheet, this memory chip is a 2GigaByte memory chip, not 4GB.

Is your battery connectted to the board by 2 wires (red & black)? If so, you can just use a new piece of wire to solder it back.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

Spawn_20240, Most of these players use a 3.7v Lithium Polymer Battery generally around 200 - 400 mAh. If you do a google search for 3.7 Lithium Polymer Battery you should find online Hobby Stores etc that sell them. Most will provide the dimensions of the battery so find the highest mAh rated battery you can fit in your player. mAh = milliAmp hours the higher the rating the longer it will last between charges.

As for your chip according to the Samsung K9WAG08U1A spec sheet the is 2GB.
