Changing my Firmware images?.
 

I understand everything I have to do to change my firmware and I understand how to work all the tools to do so. But when it comes to step 6 here.

>>> 6. To replace the images with your own image, you will need to save all your images as a .BMP file with Depth: 24 Bit.

I dont know how to save images as .BMP file with Depth: 24 Bit.

Help Tadad1 or Admin!.

Pocket_Nano, what image editing program are you using? If you use the extracted images as a base for your new images they should save in the same format.

I'm not using any image editing programs. Whats a good free download to use?. And is there some already maybe preinstalled on my windows xp already that I can use. So the images already in my player will save as bmp. file thats great. But now what about images I find online or wherever how do I change them?. Thanks!.

Pocket_Nano, If you are using images from other themes they are most likely 24bit already otherwisw MSPaint in your Accessories will save to 24bit.
