Question on MP4 player
 

Hi. I just bought a "Pearl-z" from uxcell. It was the 2GB version. Does anyone have experience with this model? Is it a non-hacked one? Thanks

Hoppes, you can't tell whether it is hacked or not by just physically looking at it. The best option is to format it using the MP3 Utilities Disk Tool that came with the player, or use the HP Format Tool. Both of which are downloadable from the downloads section.

I am sorry i have put it in wrong area. I havent recieved the player yet. I mainly want to know if this is a good site to buy things from.

Check the warranty.
When you get it, save all the files on the player to a folder on your computer, then FORMAT it!

Format it like mad and this will tell you whether it has any hacks done to it.

actually you don't need to fotmat, there is another way, just copy 2GB worth of music on your player (if you don't have 2GB worth of music, just keep copying your music into new files till it fills upto 2GB).

Then run the files off the player through windows, randomly select files, if hacked, then only the files that were copied at the start would work, and not the last ones.

If the majority work, then you don't have a hacked player, if you get error or messages saying that the file is corrupt, then you have a hacked player.

No worries. I think UXcell.com is a good place to buy things from. They have warranty gaurantee.

BTW, I love their accessories .... always with a unbeatable price.

However, regarding their website, you may need to wait it load (its slow sometimes)
