Moro, That is because your player has 9.0.50 version firmware, s1fwx does not work with any firmware above version 9.0.43.

Moro,
The s1fwx tool can't extract firmware version 9.0.50 at the moment. You have firmware version 9.0.50 unfortunately. As soon as it's available, it will be on this site for everyone to download. So at the moment, we all just have to wait for wiRe to provide us with an upgraded version of the s1fwx tool. |
i tried but after selecting extract and then typing in the drive, it scanned a bit and then it come up with error; can not read from specified device. so i obviously have the same issue as Moro
here is what is stored in my player Firmware version. LG MP3 PLAYER SCC 91-002 CM60022 2007/01/12 ACT_V9.0.50 |

Firmware ATJ2093H
Ok... I bought a mp4 PLAYER from HONG KONG a few weeks ago.
At first it had no problems. Some weeks later when I tried to turn it on, it appeared a BLUE screen with a sand clock in it, but I couldn't use it. As it didn't work I tried to upgrade the firmware, but now the screen is completely dark blue (my computer has always recognised it as an ADFU device). Here are some characteristics of the PLAYER: Large CHIPSET: SAMSUNG 652 K9G8G08UOM PCB0 Medium CHIPSET: ATJ2093H FC030FA 5C6 Small CHIPSET: SPT SP3767HN 06KS39 LCD Screen: P20061015 0644185969 Here you can see a mp4 PLAYER similar than mine: http://www.fotozone.es/ficheros/2007...zone_17966.jpg I hope someone can help me and tell me where to find the firmware I need. Thank you. |
Re: Please Upload your Players Firmware Today
THOR1985 - What's the screen size?
The pic looks like my "full metal Platinum". You could look here for firmware: http://www.uxcell.com/uxcell/retail/...ADS&action=faq Although the file for the 1.5 size screen hasn't worked for me. good luck. |
Re: Please Upload your Players Firmware Today
I'd like to dump my player firmware(Nano Clone 2GB, Black, ATJ2093H, with firmware 9.0.48, Wilson Lisong), but how I can do it? I've seen a bunch of posts saying that it's impossible 'cause s1fwx still can't dump firmware on players like mine, due to some limitations.
And also I've seen some dumps of 9.0.48, 9.0.50 firmwares... The question is: how'd you guys doing this? Maybe there's another proggy for firmware dump? |
I don't know how to get the firmware from my MP4 player
I really want to upload my firmware and maybe learn how to modify it, but the S1 software isn't working for me. My MP4 player came with a mini disk with a lot of programs, but no instructions or even descriptions about what the programs are.
Here is my MP4 player: [img=left:a72f2ba967]http://www.houseofblaze.com/myspacephotos/watch.jpg[/img:a72f2ba967] It's sold as a Raremono/Thanko 1.8" (actually 1.5") widescreen mp4 watch. The chip is a Samsung K9LAG08(MLC). The firmware is 03.10.00, and my system settings say the chip version is 07. Any idea what program I should be using to extract and/or modify this firmware? Thank you. - Blaze |
