akaslu, The reason your player no longer reads 4GB is because it was not it's true size. Your memory chip had been hacked so that it would read larger. At the moment 2GB is the largest memory module that these players can handle. The changes you have made to your player have remoced the hack and know it is reading the true size. You will find many pots in the forums about this problem.

When you say everything on your screen is turned down do you mean that the firmware you have loaded to your player is upside down or mirrored. If so that is because the firmware is not right for your player there is no way to fix it you have to try other firmware till you find one that is more compatible with your player.

akaslu , if the screens are all upside down, does the player still function as normal? Like playing music, videos, games etc?
If so, another solution i can think of is to extract the firmware, repair it, and using the S1res tool to manually export and rotate each individual graphic, and then importing back into the S1res tool. Then re-flashing it back.
It's a very tedious task, but finding a compatible firmware is also very tedious.

lattesurf,
Unfortunatly flipping the images does not help because you can not flip the text or repositon any text, numbers or icons to the new flipped positions.

This is a crude example of what I mean. None of the text and flipped icon and number images line up with the flipped background image.
