Ipod Nano MP4 Player wont play in stereo mode
 

Hi,

My Ipod Nano-like MP4 Player is unable to play audio file in strereo mode. I have a file which is created based on binaural beat technology. So I need certain sounds to flow from right earphone while other from left earphone. However, this is not the case with my mp4 player. I hear sound coming from both earphones which is not what I want.

Are u guys facing with the same problem or am I the only one who suffers from this?

prodigi , i'm not so sure about the binaural beat technology you mentioned. But according to the ATJ2085 datasheet, the chipset has a built in Stereo 18-bit Sigma-Delta DAC as the headphone processor.

i am able to listen to stereo sounds from my music, as some songs of mine has certain beats on either left or right earphone. Just as what i hear from my speakers on the computer.

Maybe someone else can shed some light on this?

prodigi, I have a couple of players that came with binaural sound sample mp3's and had no problems with them. Have you tried another pair of earphones?
