How are mp4 players hacked?
Shortly after ordering a 4gb mp4 player off ebay, I found out that all the 4gb ones were hacked. Fortunately it was 2gb which is still big enough. I have sent a *cough* nice email demanding a large refund :) I will refrain from mentioning who they are until I get a response.
But what I wonder is how exactly they hack them. The main reason is to find out and hack a 128mb flash disk to show 2TB. My attempts to manually modify the partition table and FAT have succeeded only in the area of freezing windows and making it fail to recognize any USB devices until a reboot. Fortunately lunix came to the rescue and fixed the partition. I can't exactly google "how do I hack my 128mb flash disk to look like 2TB?" so does anyone know? :) PS. spellcheck wants to correct "Shortly" to "Chortle" WTF |
Well I don t think it is good to tell you... you will then hack them and sell them more expensive... Thats bad guy
And second reason is : Someone can find this by google after we send the solution here ;) |
Re: How are mp4 players hacked?
I agree with Groovy on this point, so I think this thread should be closed by an admin to end any furthur discussion on this topic.
