Trackmaniak, Have not seen the player before but your screen appears to be 1.8 inch.
Why do you want firmware is your player not working?

Trackmaniak, Click the image to open in full size. Slow scrolling through music is one of the most frustrating aspects of these players. This is due in part to the track fade out. Sadly upgrading your firmware will not fix this, it is the same in all firmware.

Trackmaniak, Track fade out: When you are listening to music and push the forward or back buttons to scroll through songs the song does not stop and go to the next track, the volume slowly goes down (fades) then it moves to the next track. It is the same when you stop a song, the sound goes down before it stops.

You will find that you can scroll through tracks slightly faster if the music is stopped.

Fat32 will not help as it is a firmware design not a file system problem.
