Managed to recover my MP4 purchased from eBay
 

I got mine on Ebay for less than $40. I screwed up the FW on it and have been three days now fixing what I messed up. It has the MP-751CV1-STL board in it and it uses the Ver 3.5.37 software, it has the ATJ2086l chip in it with a Samsung Nano flash memory chip K9X2GXXXX. I have it back and working well with all of the features functioning. Telephone Book, MP3 / MP4, photo, FM radio, Voice Recorder, Ebook function.

I have posted the FW so all can use at their leasure.

I am now going to attempt to change the Log In logo and the Log Out stuff it has on it. :cry:

I Like mine quite a bit even if a clone of something.

Jack Stroud, Good you managed to recover your player and thanks for posting the firmware. Hopefully it will help others with dead layers :)
