hello, first time writing here.. i just bought off e-bay a supposed 4 gb mp4 player.. i found this place after making purchase.. i havent received player yet but i can see it probably will be a memory hack from what i read here..i bought it 3 days ago and since then i have been doing a lot of research on these.. i found this site and several others that have good info.. one i want to share now is... www.made-in-china.com this site has a great many of the manufacturers info and products.. maybe be able to get info on firmware straight from them.. anyways i cant wait to see if i get a good mp4 or junk with a high tag..

n2sins , usually you won't be able to get a compatible firmware even from manufacturers. As they don't even follow proper versions control.
What i'll suggest is to Format your player the moment it arrives. If it drops in memory (which highly would), demand a refund of some sorts.
