omg i just got my new player today so i decided to share the joy with the people on mympxplayer.org by posting a picture

it looks scratched but its just cause i left the plastic on it to stop it from scratching

Glad it arrived ok, the first nano clone I have seen with the buttons placed for horizontal display. Upload your firmware if you get a chance.

i can extract the firmware but its 9.0.48 and when its extracted i cant repair it, it just comes up with errors

yes many people were complaining about the firmware being on the side so i guess they changed the button orientation

Dragar, the 9.0.48 firmware is very new and as yet there are no tools to extract and repair it.

i know its sad =( i was really hoping to put an ipod theme onto it. it has something in the menus for custom theme but i don't know how to upload them

Player looks very nice.

Where did you buy it from?
I notice the buttons are actually on the SIDE instead. A lot of the players have them on the vertical and you have to turn your player sideways to view the videos.

HI, I have ordered this unit from Uxcell, I am a little PO'ed though, The pix they have on the site dont even hint at this new aspect ratio for the controls and the screen!! Also the USB jack is at the side along with the earphone jack at the bottom, I chose it for this and the screen size, I dont give much of a rats arse about watching video on an 1.8 inch screen so I am wondering,now if I like it or not!! is the screen always on the side angle even for general use as in music etc??

anyway dont mean to whinge!! :cry:
