please tell me is there anywhere software for correct extracting and improvement for new firmware such as FW 9.0.48 & 9.0.49?

Dima, At the moment I am unaware of any software for extracting firmware above 9.0.43.

hi, mine just bought mp4 player, a 2gb ipod nano alike model, yesterday, no brand in the box stated.
the firmware version is 9.0.48 dated on 2006/09/12
the fw:B806K8V1.1 dated on 2006/09/25

is anyone know what this number mean?
How about upgrading the firmware?
is it safe for me to take the fw core 9.0.49? or the newer version?

Skoolboy you already asked that question in another topic, where you were advised NOT to flash it. Do you really want someone to tell you to go ahead and probably kill your player?
