Default Anyone know anything about "Advanced MTV" format?

I know that MTV format for Nano clones is inferior to AMV. Some sellers on eBay are touting an "Advanced MTV" format. I can't find any info whatsoever on the net about this. Is it supposed to be comparable to AMV (highly compressed), or is it simply another term for MTV?

I looked into this a while ago.. and also found nothing on the net at all relating to a video format AMTV.. I suspect its possibly chinese speak for either AMV format or an attempt to get buyers to think that the MTV format has been 'improved' to AMV levels... I have also checked with friends in the industry who have used MTV format and they haven't heard of anything official about improving it, but there are always rumours about super new ways of encoding. I have also been reminded that chinese speak for 4 gigs is UK speak for 1Gig and perhaps it is simply another example of bad translation?
The most obvious pointer to this being nothing more than 'talk' is that there are no convertors available that support any so called SMTV format.. so even if a retailer had a player boasting this format,,, I doubt anyone could convert a normal video to it.

After not finding anything myself in a google search, I suspected the latter, that it's an attempt to get buyers to think the MTV format has been improved to AMV levels. Another reason to stay away from eBay sellers touting the "Advanced MTV format". Hmm.... maybe I should ask the seller what the hell he means by that?

Speaking of "chinesespeak", is anyone good at it, and can you help translate this response from an ebay MP4 seller in Hong Kong? (I asked if he would guarantee the player is 2GB, and whether the jack was a 2.5mm size or 3.5mm). What especially concerns me, is if he's saying that if there's less than 2GB in there, that's insufficient reason to offer a refund!:

Hello!

Easy to thank you for your the question!

1.This machine stores the chip as Samsung type : K9HAG08U1M

2.Store and show it for 1994MB because own to use 1%.

3.Certain foot RAM, it is a refund to be insufficient!

4.The ear tube location is 2.5mm.
