zguby, Usually a charging problem like this can be because of a faulty USB cable, see if you can get hold of another one to try.

From what I have been reading, I know the nano clone is supposed to be turned on while charging.
Could this be your problem?

Following on from lddrizzt1's comment. Just to be sure, make sure the [on/off] switch is set to the ON position while charging to see if it makes any difference.

Other than that, what tadad suggests, also try another USB cable. It's best to try that so you can rule that out of the question or not.

It would be a bad connection on your player where the USB cable plugs into it that's not picking up the charge properly too.

zguby, I think admin and tadad1 are right. You have to set the button to ON for a nano clone. If you are using the Power adaptor check to see the charging lights. Mine has to leds one green and the other red. The red displays power is on, and the green that the Nano is charging.

Also sometimes the USB cable doesn't is a bit faulty like I have to bend it a bit so that a proper connection is established. Also some players take quite a while to charge. Mine takes somewhere around 2-3 hours and I've found out that it charges faster on the power adaptor than on the PC.
