Default New MP4 Players

I already have a mp4 player. It has 256 mb. But I felt i should change it and buy a new one with better and more facilities.

This player caught my attention. It costs 1899 Indian rupees plus 200 indian rupees shipping charges which is about 47 US $.

It has a inbuilt speaker, 1 gb memory and most importantly a replaceable battery like the ones used in mobile phones.

1GB MP4-MP3 USB Music Video Player with Rechargable Mobile Type Lithium Battery - 1 GB USB MP4

can you people have a look and suggest me whether i should buy it?

i would appreciate your views.

Thanks

deepakrr,
We have had a few members report buying hacked players with fake memory chips from Rediff.
If you look under the heading "Package Includes"
the last point is "Do Not Format the Player".
This is generally a sign that the memory chip is hacked and will not be a true 1GB but more likely a 128MB chip hacked to read as 1GB. If you format the chip you remove the hack and your 1GB player instantly becomes a 128MB player. By putting a warning you have no way of getting a refund.
I would stay away from any this product and any that have a format warning.

deepakrr , another alternative i would suggest would be Uxcell.com

The postage offered is a reasonable flat fee, which is usually very much cheaper than most sellers on eBay.
Their products also seem to be quite legit.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

i aked my dad to have a look. he was happy with it but then he declined

i can understand his problem since in India we have import tax duties and as a result the price may get doubled or somewhere near it.

can anyone have a look at this and tell me whether i should go for it
