iTunes Agent
I found this program that I thought some of you might be interested in.
iTunes Agent enables many non-iPod MP3 players to be used with iTunes. The project enables you to synchronize your MP3 player with an iTunes playlist automatically, or with two small mouse-clicks. You can find it here: iTunes Agent |
lddrizzt1 , nice find! Will be trying it out and see how it goes..

Thank you very much! lddrizzt1
This will help many people! Just like having a real ipod now!! [NOTE: Just found you need .NET Framework 2] |
ok, have anyone successfully managed to sync their players with the itunes? Or even get the player to appear in itunes?
i've played around with many settings in the agent, but itune still fails to detect my player. |
It might not work on your player, only some I think
|
I don't know which ones it works with, it says many in the description. SO I figured it had to work with someone's. I don't have iTunes so I didn't test it.

Personally I'm not a fan of iTunes.
I would prefer to put music and files onto my player and organise it myself. I've heard how iTunes works on an iPod and a lot of people hate it because it randomly puts files anywhere and gives them all sort of funny names. I like the versality of the MP4 players in that it's like a memory stick. You can organise your files and folders then play them on your player. You don't need a specific program to transfer the files across. |
I feel the same way, but I saw it and I figured there were members who liked iTunes. So I posted it.
I hope some one finds this useful. :) |
i'll give the agent another try tonight. i've never had any good experience with itunes before. My previous motorola E1 rokr mobile phone uses itunes as the mp3 player, and the only way to upload music was through the itunes program. And it took ages to detect and send songs or delete.
But good find lddrizzt1! :D |
Re: iTunes Agent
HI,
Yes iTunes is good for the loyalist ipoder and apple consumer, But i do not like the way iTunes controls the way you handle and manage your music, and if you are unaware has coding installed to control the digital rights management of this music you have on your hard drive!! so long live the generics and the ability to do what you want, when you want, anyway you like. just my 2 cents worth!! cheers JOffa |
