Look at this guys listing.
Here is an actual qoute
"Remark: The advertised memory capacity of this device represents unformatted capacity. Please note that once formatted and due to variations in flash module block limitations, the functional storage space will be lower than the advertised capacity"

Can you believe this he sells them as 4gb and at 4gb price!

Username is Directimport4u he should also be added to the list, blatantly selling hacked players

Buyer dragon.direct Mar-06-07 07:29 left feedback for Directimport4u "'FRAUD! Sells hacked memory 4GB is really ONLY 1GB!! Why should I pay for return!"

Is that you Punisher or some other victim?

Lucky you.

I also had PayPal generously (ha ha!) offer a refund if I paid for tracked return postage for my hacked 1GB player (sold as 4GB). They also suggested I communicate directly with seller (keistore, now changed to keisquare) to resolve dispute. However, there was no provision to advise PayPal I was doing this.

So, while keistore stalled, by not responding to emails, PayPal closed the claim!

Keistore/keisquare has now gone Private with Feedback Profile, & with 100 negatives in the last month I can understand why. However, whilst having a Private Feedback Profile stops everyone from seeing the feedback keistore/keisquare has received, it doesn't stop him making all sorts of false claims about others. What a system!! He gives me negative feedback, saying I didn't communicate with him, which everyone can read, but no-one can see my response, or what feedback I gave him in the first place (& why I gave that feedback). And, call me old-fashioned, but I don't regard 6 emails on my part (3 via a PayPal dispute, & 3 via an ebay dispute) no communication. However, I do call no response to any of those emails as being 'no communication'.

I'd like to say beware of keistore/keisquare, but I fear that by now he has a new ebay identity & is only visiting his old account in order to damage other people's reputations by leaving negative feedback for anyone who dares to reveal him for what he is.

The irony is that the player I bought is a great 1GB player. It has a nice (2 inch) screen, a speaker (not flash, but good enough to listen to in the office at night without wearing earphones etc), it uses readily replaceable Nokia phone batteries, & has a 3.5mm headphone socket. All pluses for me.

All he needed to do was be honest.

Is that too much to ask?

Hi guys. Great idea on the petition. Signed as #617....I think LOL. Here is a copy of the email I sent to MP4Plus2007 (are they on your blacklist?)

You lied when you stated 4Gb and of course you knew that. I will not be sending it back for a refund as I am not paying out of pocket to send back an item which you sold under false pretenses. I will be happy to send the item back if you agree to refund me all of my costs from the auction plus an additional 5 pounds to cover shipping to send it back.

Failing that, I am asking for a partial refund as I only got half of the player I was supposed to, and you knew that when you sold it.

Please contact me ASAP. If I have not heard from you in three days I will file a claim with PayPal.

Details for item number: 110095252873

Keep up the good work!

Yep got a hacked player as well. When my battery died which was very long after I bought the unit, I replace it. Loosing power reset the unit and after reformatting the memory went from 4g to 2g or 1.90 to be exact. The seller has been ignoring all contact. I would sign the petition but, I no longer have the item no. However the seller Sky Tower is still on ebay but they no longer sell nano clones. They are selling nintendo's.

Not to offend anyone or anything but I haven't used ebay yet because I think its too much scam. Im not advertising or anything but I use ubid.com, Thats where I bought my 2gb nano clone. And the price seems the same. 1 good thing about ubid, is that its like ebay but the seller has to be certified to sell their products so If you want to buy something and got something else you can return it back and ubid helds the full responsibility of the item..But ebay is popular and used world wide. And also Ill sign the petition to help others.
