HI, on average I purchase 10-20 mp4 players every 2 weeks off ebay. Meizu is my fav.

1. you can get ripped off buying anything on ebay, be careful and it wont happen.

2. You spend 80$ on a 8gig player , then you find out it is only a 2gig player, So What! you still saved money compared to retail.

If you want zero risk - then go to wal mart and buy a 2gig player for 149$

3.""writing congress??"" half of congress doesnt know what email is the other half use it for emailing love letters to little boys,
they couldnt point to china on a map and certainly would give a blank stare if you mentioned the firmware on your mp4 player.
Ya lets have the feds control it like they controled military purchases. (flashback 10 years - army paying 500$ for toilet seats!!)
(flashback 2 years - 8 BILLION cash money misplaced!!)

come on people ! i mean .. come ..on !!
lets not get into the "there should be a law" thing.

You lost 20$ get over it!
the real fruad is apple selling ipods for 399$ which cost them 59$ to make.

6000 mp4 players sold everyday to Happy customers for less then half retail price.

I myself will continue buying mp4 players from various sellers.
if i lose a little money here or there i will deal with it cause overall i save ALOT.

I will also continue to wipe my own ass. hence if i get some on my finger....you will see no posts of me petitioning for a fedral mandate of stronger TP.
i will clean up my own mess, i advise you do the same.

those who give up privacy, freedom , choice, rights for the illusion of safety.. will end up having no freedom, no choice, no rights, no privacy. and NO safety.

Thanks You Have Saved Me Precious Money And Time. I would have bought several items from these fraudulent people and been in the hole some major cash. As is I buy enough without being scammed. E Bay needs to do a better job and step up to take the outragous bastards to the cleaners.

xxxAxlRose, That is good news, normally we hear the opposite from people who have been scammed because they did not know about the problem.

Ebay does not care they get there fee if the buyer was scammed or not.

Hi Guys,

Well just like you out there I have had the same promlems with this MP3 Player which I purchased on Ebay as an 8GB.
The chip number of mine is SAMSUNG K9LAG08110M which identifies the chip as 2GB.

I found this site to further our plight www.reportauctionfraud.com.

If you use this site be specific and to the point, don't lose your cool they might be able to help broaden awarenes. I have been on several other similar sites to help the cause.

has anyone got any more news.

Hi all.

Great site!!!

I happened upon this site while reading someones feedback comments about red_vision so i thought I would wait around untill I found a bargain MP3 player so i could just experiment and de-hack it and all that.

I found one and bought it for $55AU, free postage, It's a 4GB nano clone. I thought if it only turns out to be 512mb it'll still be worth it..I could sell it to a friend or something.

It arrived promptly and turned out to be 2GB so i'm pretty much stoked about that.

I signed the petition, alerted ebay and are currently exchanging Emails with the seller.

It's good that people create sites such as this one...it's been an eye opener.

cheers.
