New eBay trend in listings - 262K colour screen
 

the new trend in the ebay listing is about the display of the mp4 player. sellers are now offering a mp4 player with a 1.8" screen with not 65k colors but with 262k.

Anyone know if this is true? is there a manufacture making a 262k and can it be confirmed online using the manufactures website?

one seller in rediff.com, here in india, told me the same (1.8 tft 262k colours). but i ended up getting a 1.5inch, oled/lcd (not sure), 65k colours.

but they do exist. nokia n91 mobile has it. but i am not sure whether even the mp4 players have it too or the sellers are faking it.

TFT screens are 256K.
CSTN screens are only 65K.

TFT screens are the way to go as you will know the difference in quality that's for sure.

the listing says 262k.

you'd think they would be able to keep the numbers straight from counting all their bundles of scam-'o'-you money. oh well
