Default Multitasking

I have bought a new MP4 due to few interesting characteristics:
. Screen of 2.2" with 265k colours (high definition and large texts)
. Slot for external Mini SD card (I can have many cards with music or video)
. Plays AVI (xvid) (which is a good codec but still requires conversion to the screen size and sound)
. Affordable price in a local store (less risk than buying through internet)
(This machine can be seen in the album of myMPxPlayer)
This device result to be a RockChip chip machine and due to that is Multitasking
My questions are:
. These capabilities are only of RockChip devices?
. There is other chip, system, firmware or whatever that support multitasking?
. Is iPod multitasking?
Thanks for your replies in advance

DaremoS , are you refering to multitasking whereby while you are playing music, you can exit and do other applications like games or ebook?

There are some players capable of this. The Teclast and Meizu players are able to do so. And definitely the iPod supports this too.

Usually there would be 2 processors for such multitasking. 1 for the basic firmware operation, application operation, etc. The other would be a music decoder for the playing for music files.

It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

I have two of the Teclast T-29's. The multitasking feature is one of the main reasons I looked at this model.

Teclast T29 machine is based on Telechips TCC770 which is also multitasking.
Meizu seems to be based in the same chip.
So we have at least two multitasking chips.

Yea.. pretty much the Meizu and Teclast beats any nano-clone hands-down. Every since i got my teclast 2 months ago, my nano-clone has been sitting quietly in a corner collecting dust.
