Would You Recommend Your Player?
I need to buy a batch of MP4 players for a client.
I bought and tested my first from Ebay and it is a total pile of junk. NEW BLACK 1GB FLAT SCREEN MP3 MP4 PLAYER SAMSUNG FLASH It packed up on me within about 20 uses. Now all it says is "Disk Error". The battery wouldn't hold it's charge and the earphone socket was dodgy. So I have to find another. Would you recommend yours or a certain seller? For it to be suitable it has to be: No thicker than 7mm. ANY size memory Must be able to play Video files (any format) No smaller than a 1.5" screen And most importantly of all, it has to work for longer than 5 MINUTES!! Thanks in advance. |
Re: Would You Recommend Your Player?
indikit , any nano-clone on ebay would be able to fit most of your requirements. However, the part on the battery life would be a case-by-case basis. So it entirely depends on your luck to get a player with a reasonable amount of playtime.
However, you can get players with better battery life from Uxcell.com instead. Their installed batteries generally are of reasonable quality, and other models offered by them features removeable nokia batteries. If you are looking for a large screen player, houseofdap.com offers the Teclast C260 with 2.5" screens. It also has touch sensitive keypads, similiar to the LG Chocolate mobile phone. |

i would recommend you to have a look at UXCell
they have got a wide range of players and as lattesurf said, the batteries that their players come with are much more better quality than the ones on ebay. i would particularly suggest you the Glacier which has a nokia battery and will give you excellent battery life as well as the option to easily remove and replace it rather than soldering and stuff as in the other players. they also have a 5$ shipping scheme worldwide. |
Re: Would You Recommend Your Player?
how many do you need? you might want to go through china yourself. there is one company i would recommend that doesn't require you to be a regristered business to order from.
its a good manufacture, not the best, but their mp4 players are good quality, shipping is reliable but their customer service is outstanding. very easy to work with. the batteries are strong with a BLC (battery life cycle) of just over 2 years. manufactures use the BLC test results to assign a warranty period, either 1 year or 6 months. the last BLC was conducted on Dec 12, 2006. check the players yourself before giving them to your client, for hacks and firmware. pm me your email address and i will email you their contact info. be sure to ask them for a new catalog, flash memory prices change daily on the open market. i would email the most recent catalog i have for them but its 3 days old already. mp4 prices go up and down depending on the open market price of flash memory. i don't work for them and i don't make any money off them with this. i've ordered from them, thats how i know about them. |
