is this a trusted seller

looks good from his feedbacks and stuff but you can never say if the mp4 player he is selling is actual 1 gb or not by just looking at the picture and cost.

but if you want to take the risk, you can go ahead.

Re: help please

this is just my opinion, but i wouldn't buy from this seller. why? the prices are way to low. this ebayer has bought them wholesale and has had to pay for shipping the units to the u.s.

his average price is 25.00 so cut it in half which is 12.50 then subtract shipping, average of 2.00 a unit, which is now 10.50 and allow for 2 dollars for a markup (and thats extremely low) and we can estimate his cost at 8.50 and probably even lower. i would guess around 6.00 u.s. a unit.

his shipping is verily close to the actual amount to ship so he's not making much of the shipping, if any.

the very best mp3 player 1 Gigabyte wholesale is at least $37.00 and for the very best mp4 player 2 Gigabyte is at least 61.00 U.S. wholesale. for a top of the line 2.5" TFT 260K with 2GB Samsung is currently 74.00 u.s. wholesale.

knowing what the current wholesale prices are from manufactures are the best tool buyers have to know what kind of player they can expect to get.

i wouldn't buy a player from anyone on ebay that didn't have at least a 30 day money back, 1 year warranty, and a price of at least $69.99, and the best price would be 79.99 with free shipping.

remember you get what you pay for. if it sounds to good to be true it is. also i wouldnt buy from any ebayer or store that did not absoluetly guarantee against a hack. that is an absolute must.

Hang on, he's actually YOU isn't he?

To add to ashley_rb's comments, doesn't eBay also charge a commission fee for the sale as well? If so, that will also cut into his profits.

Re: Is "yz4056" a good seller on eBay?

the ebayer usually goes with auctions and his average price is 25.00. his fee's are:

0.65 to list (as a basic auction with a picture in the gallery)

1.31 final fee (5.25% of 25.00 dollars)

fee's are 1.96 for ebay. for paypal using the same 25.00 + 9.99 shipping, the fee would be 1.56. PayPal charges 2.9% + 0.55 per transaction.

his total fee's would be $3.51 (again using just the average of 25.00).

this might be a bit more or less depending on a few different factors but it gives us a great idea of the fee's.

Re: help

The statistics for yz4056:

Only sells 512MB and 1G

Had 120 auctions for mp4 players in the last 14 days. (60 1G and 60 512)
63 of 120 mp4 players sold in the last 14 days.
49 out of 60 1G sold.
14 out of 60 512 sold.
All were 1 day auctions.

4 or 5 of each size are up for auction each day.

The 512 and 1G both start at $24.99 with $9.99 for shipping (including insurance).

Getting a 512 for $25 is pretty easy, but it will take a bit more work (about a 1 in 10 chance) to get a 1G for $24.99. Not a bad price.

User name has been in use since Oct. 2003
I could find no neg or neutral feedback that I could say for sure was related to any mp4 players going back to June 2006

Everywhere it is said that the player is "1G" not 1GB. I would assume that it is 1GByte and not 1Gbit. 1Gbit would be a 128MB player. If they were selling 128's, I would expect to see neg feedback.
It does say in the ebay part of the description "Storage Capacity: 1-9 GB".
The 512MB does say "Less than 1 GB" so that all seems to check out.

I did find one mention of the seller on the forum http://www.mympxplayer.org/re-which-...ghlight=#18521

Players like http://cgi.ebay.com/128-MB-PINK-MP3-...7633QQihZ002QQ
seem to get a fair amount of neg feedback so I would stay away from those.

Seems like a good seller. You may want to wait for some more opinions before jumping into anything. I'm considering buying.
