Here, I'm back, as promised. The respectable Ellieshangsan provided me with what seems a true 4GB nanoclone; see my new post here for more details. But beware the crooks; there are still many around. Kerdu, happy in Paris.

@ dumm-user:
Dude, I found this site looking for a solution to the Scam sellers. I thought i could hopefully meet other legit ebay sellers who are facing a similar problem of sitting on genuine inventory, and unable to sell because of the Scammers.
I did not put any link to my site anywhere, or try to promote anything.
Re. your acuzation of a high shipping:
I ship worldwide express (delivered in 1 or 2 days) directly from the factory. Not $3 airmail like others. I went to China, negotiated with all 4 major shipping companies, & then tied-up with UPS as they have a daily direct flight to the US. Usually, when someone places an order at midnight & goes to sleep in the US, his item is halfway across the Pacific by the time he wakes up!
The $29 shipping contains a bit of the product cost. This is for 3 reasons:
1. Lower FVF to ebay (which ultimately will come out of the customer's pocket by pricing it higher.
2. Lower listing price - List at over 49.99, and ebay charges double the fees. Better to transfer some of the cost to the shipping, because ultimately who pays?
3. Because of the damn scammers, I ended up having to sell 16 players one day at prices between $0.01 to $10 (sorry you missed it!). The scammers attract all the bidding with their "4GB". Had it not been for the small 'cuishion' in the shipping charges, I would have lost another few hundred dollars.
When buying online, you should look at product cost + shipping as one price to compare with others.
@ Admin: This is not intended to be a promotion. I just feel that I am entitled to reply at accuzations made at me. Feel free to throw it out if you don't agree.
Thanks.

HubbleMart, I find your comments quite warrented and respect the fact that you have not tried to promote your listings within the forums. I think like myself most members are quite gun shy when it comes to eBay traders and their 4GB player claims, unfortunatly the scammers have created an enviroment of mistrust and eBay's lack of concern does not help matters. It should also be noted that there are in fact honest traders out there.
Unfortunatly despite the fact that 4GB payers are now available I feel that there will be even more people scammed by crooked sellers and buying a 4GB player on eBay becomes a game of russian roulette with only one empty chamber.

If interested by more details, check for the thread: "True 4GB chipods do exist; I got one in today's mail", where I've just uploaded pics and sort of a review. Best from Paris, Kerdu.

PleXo,
Sorry, I missed that post from ChinaVasion. I have now removed it. Sometimes there's too many posts in the forum for me to catch up with them all and that one was missed. It's detected now and I have removed it.

but it seems to be so difficult - I read for hours but no result.
Who are good sellers? How much do I have to spend?
...and why does the admin allow that people promote their sites where they sell e.g. hubblemart with 29$ transport cost or
chinavasion who offer an 4GB for 68$ and telling in this forum that they have the real one
-intrabrew says it cost at least 85euro but has none
this is a wild bunch of data but no information!! who can help?
thanks in advance

Sorry dumm-user,
I missed the post from ChinaVasion. I have now removed it because of self promotion by them. Sometimes there are just too many posts in the forum and it's hard to get through them all in one day and sometimes it gets missed.

I have now Clone Nano 4G Mp3/Mp4 Player, when I format it[FAT32] becomes just 244MB, and format it again to FAT format, theres nothing happen, I just thought for the FWupgrade, and when I upgrade it there's no display or whatsoever, the Q is..
Can I recover it to 4G again??
and with display on it??
SPECS:
Device name: S1 MP3 Player
Productor: Wilson Company Ltd.
Version: 3.5.37
PS: Just download almost all PW here, Firmware is invalid.
Reason of FWupgrade: when I play mp3 the player restarts.

LiamLee™ , likely your player only has a 256MB memory chip, to further verify you can open the player and check for the serial number.
You cannot regain the lost memory space back to 4GB, as physically there is no 4GB.
You will need to keep trying the firmwares until you get the right one that starts and operates your player normally. There is no way of telling you which firmware would work with your player, it is a matter of luck and trial and error.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.
