Default meizu clone?

Hi,
I want to buy a cheap mp3 player and i found out there where lot of cheap chinese mp4 players on ebay.

does anyone have experience with this one. there are lots of these on ebay
it looks like the meizu m6 but i'm quite shure it isn't the same.

some things i really want to know:
can you scroll trough your artists/songs in a list (like an ipod/meizu/creative) and NOT just next/last song.
does it have a good display (good enough fps/res/contrast for video)?
does it have "slide" buttons like the origal meizu?

does anyone have a movie of this player in action?
does anyone have another good alternative?

thanks in advance,

Chris

Chris , from the looks of it, i think it should be running off the rockchip chipset.
You can read up on the rockchip player, there is a short thread here http://www.mympxplayer.org/rockchip-...ns-vt3083.html

Although i don't own a rockchip player, but i believe they are able to list the filenames for browsing.

With a larger screen (2.4"), the video playback is definitely much clearer than typical 1.5" or 1.8" screens. Besides, rockchip uses divx coded .avi files, rather than .amv format.

I guess there isin't the slide feature for controls, just normal clicking of the buttons to navigate.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

chriroz, unfortunately I can't help you with how the player works, but I can show you a slightly cheaper meizu clone: http://www.pushplaydigital.com/digim...-look-mp5.html

geostar, The picture is a Meizu but the player is not. The meizu has a 2.4 inch screen this player has a 2.0 inch.

If you have been ripped off with a hacked player by a seller submit a report to www.ic3.gov

I don't think it's a meizu for that price...
why do you think it is one?
i asked the seller some questions but the only thing he answered was:
"it have clickbuttons" wich means it isn't a meizu wich has slide buttons

there is just one thing i realy need on a mp4 player and that is a good, fast (nice looking) music selection interface, so i don't have to press next for 3 minutes to play a song (ill buy a shuffle if i need that)
i found some more players in this category:
this one
and this one

are they any good?
can anyone tell me some more about "rockchip players"

BTW it has a 2.4 inch (320x240) screen (,all of em)!!

I just bought a second of these players
black sword

I think that if a player converts to MTV or AMV, they seem to have lesser movie abilities. (Someone correct me if I am totally out to lunch here) The one I linked to takes AVI - the sample files supplied with them were 224x176 Xvid video with Mp2 audio at 20 frames per second.

I like that iMirror linked in one of the above posts but I already had a good experience with the above seller. Plus a 320x240 @ 30fps movie has to be 2x+ the size of a 224x176 movie and these things have very little space. I didn't think that I'd benefit enough from the iMirror's better screen so I stuck to what I knew.
