Default What can I expect from this ebay 4GB nano clone?

http://cgi.ebay.de/1-Bid-New-4GB-FM-...QQcmdZViewItem

It's the only nano clone I can find where I come from (europe). This type is sold like every 8 minutes every day for about 40€. Can it be real, or is it hacked? I wrote to the distributer, but he didn't write back yet.

oh, and I'm new here, where can I find some good tutolials on how to use these players properly, particulary how to format and deal with the firmware. Maybe a good newbee thread?

ollux, EBay trader "chowkitm" is reported to be selling hacked players.

Thank you very much, I was almost about to buy one...

But how can it be that he is still selling in masses... every 8 minutes...

Does hacked mean automaticly that the player has just 2GB or less, or can it still have 4GB?

ollux , the term "hacked memory" means the memory chip has been altered in an intended manner. Any chip can be hacked to show larger amounts of memory size. A 128MB chip can be hacked to show 2GB, 4GB, 8GB, etc. Even a 4GB chip can be hacked to show 8GB, or 16GB.

Usually for buyers, when they received the player, they don't know it's hacked. So they probably filled up with a few hundred MB of songs and everything plays well. So they leave a +ve feedback.

By the time they realised it, it is too late.

Thank you,

I found just another offer

Are those known players? Can they also be hacked? Are there player models that are never hacked?
I'm searching for 4GB players.

ollux , unfortunately there is no way of telling if this is a legit 4GB or not, since there are legit 4GB players that came on the market about a few weeks back.

However, if you're after a legit 4GB, i would suggest the Meizu M6 or Teclast T29. So far i've not seen any hacked Meizus or Teclasts. They both have sizes in 1GB, 2GB & 4GB, while the T29 has a new 8GB model.

You can get them from HouseOfDAP.com , 1 of our forum's sponsors. Their products are reliable and trustworthy.

ollux, tinydealdirect sells nonhacked 4gb nanoclones. I know this because I just received a meizu clone from them in the mail and tested it for the hack and filled it to its full capacity without error. Here's a link:

I am about to write a review for my meizu clone so you can see that I'm teling the truth.
