Hotboxx, did you use the original Creative's long? I found the sound lame too, but after letting them play for over 48 hours, pretty loud, the sound changed totally.

Re: Creative EP-630 Earphones on Ebay?
Great info, Hotboxx. I just know that many searching for info on Google will find this helpful. It sounds like you're saying the fake ep630`s sound like chit. "Very sharp, almost painful" does not inspire confidence. I can't even imagine the i-Voda's sounding like that. Not having heard UXCells $5 offerings, Im not sure of that point of reference. How do the $5 UXcell buds (or fake ep630's) compare to UXCells earbuds that come with their players? (ie. FMP, Glacier...). At least, that I know! (And they're bloody awful, in my opinion).
It sounds like the Skullcandy's is a good alternative to buy on eBay, because (I dont think?) its been faked (yet). BTW, I haev read the ep630s need burning in to sound right, so you should leave them playing a little louder than you normally listen for about 48hrs before reasssessing nexgt to the SC's |
michiganjfrog, the real EP-630 sounds very sharp, almost painfull. But as Que advised me, I will let them play for 48 hours and maybe the sound will become richer.

After the real EP-630 played a whole day nonstop, the sound was still not good to me. Too sharp, too metalish. So I returned them to the shop and bought another set of SkullCandy Smokin' buds. This set was in black color and the cables ar now in a Y shape (the white SkullCandy set I have is J shape) and they also have volume control in the cable, and a nice storage box.

Hotboxx,
You should write up a seperate review for the earphones and post it in the "Reviews" section of the forum. Thanks for sharing your experiences with us. |
