good 2.5 to 3.5 adapters
I just bought a pair of adapters off ebay (the cord type) and both developed shorts quickly. Any recomendations where to get quality ones? Much prefer that cord type.
Thanks - Rick |
bikeman9111 , i guess pretty much most on ebay are about the same quality. i got my adaptor (wired-type) a few months back and it is still working good. Got it from this HK seller in ebay http://stores.ebay.com.au/cheapiz88
But seems though he is now selling in bulk (50-100pcs) rather than single items. |

Re: good 2.5 to 3.5 adapters
I think that if you look at one of the photos in my ipod v chipod guide, you might see the adapter i got, and the way i installed it. Its white, seems pretty well made, and I attached it to the side of my (modded) leather nano case with plastic twist ties and such. I think thats key. Dont allow either end to flex, or even the cable itself, and it should remain intact.

Mine was bought from Cheapiz88 too. I think my problem is that when I use it to run, I need to be more careful to secure it from bouncing around a lot. thanks

If you have decent soldering skills, you could replace the 3.5mm plug with a 2.5mm one from RadioShack (or similar place).
