can i replace flash memory

Alotta you know that my 2 gigabyte nano clone doesn't work because the internal switch is broken. I would like to buy a new player with like 128 megabytes or something, and switch the flash with my samsung k9lag0....... 2gb flash. is that possible? will i break the player if i just rip out the memory?

pmilladcs , you'll need to de-solder the chip out. Ripping the chip out would damage it.

You'll also need to consider both chips need to have the same exact pinouts.

There is a guide on S1mp3 wiki here http://wiki.s1mp3.org/index.php/How_..._a_memory_chip
