Reading ACC files
Hello, I have a Mp4 firmware version 9.0.50.
As far as I know my device can't play acc files, but I wanted to be sure so I uploaded an acc file, I was surprised when I discovered that the player could read this file, I listened to it and then sent some other acc files. I wanted to listened to them but my device couldn't read these files, including the one I was able to listen to. So I'm confused, is there a way to listen ACC files? Is my device broken? Any suggestions? Thanks |
sek300 , are you referring to .aac music files? i'm not very sure if the player actually plays .aac files.
If it does not, maybe it so happens that the first file you tried happened to play, and not the others. Most players only support .mp3, .wav, .wma, .asf, .act, and some .ogg files. |
Yes, I'm referring to .acc music files, my player only supports .mp3 and .wma files, but somehow read that file. Is that impossible? It sounded very well...

sek300 , it might be possible. Sometimes the processor might mistake the .acc file or any other formats as .mp3 or .wma files, then play them.
|
the processor cannot mistake a .acc file for a .mp3 file , they are encoded totally differnt , if the processor did do that which it wouldnt then the player would have been capable , therefore they should of made it so it acsepted .acc files, it is impossible realy , unless you have 2 of the same track 1 .mp3 and 1 .acc and played the wrong one.
Hmm |
It was a big surprise for me too, I even open that file in my computer to verify if it was an .acc file.
I didn't have 2 copies of it, one .mp3 and the other .acc, It was a single .acc file, believe me. Quote:

sek300,
So now you can't play that same .acc file anymore right? It does sound weird that it worked once and now won't work at all. It shouldn't be that way, I think it will either "work" or "won't work". Perhaps you can confirm with the seller whether it can read .acc files or not? If you wanted to, why not upload your .acc file to the site and others who have the 9.0.50 firmware and a player similar can perhaps try it to see if it works on their player? |
Hello thank you for your help, I've already uploaded the file. I hope someone can solve this problem.
