what's the fastest nano clone?

What's the fastest nano clone? I'm looking for a new nano clone because mine is broken. Mine went almost fast enough. I borrowed my friends Full Metal Platinum 1.8 and it was slow as FUCK! The info that i would like is a model from UXcell, or a discription and seller from eBay. How fast does the player operate compared to a normal 40 dollar mp3 player? I would like a link aswell. Is there anyways to make a nano clone work faster? Nothing that would require lots of work, and that could kill it.
So, what is the fastest nano clone?

pmilladcs, the speed of the player is not atributed to the player itself, but to the firmware that player uses. I dont think there is such thing as 'fastest nano clone' coz if u have a fast firmware the player should work fast enough so it doesnt get annoyin when u wait for the damn playlist menu to open :P U can always try flashin ur player with a newer or better version of frimware, but u risk permanenty killing ur player by doin that. If u still want to upgrade u can find the firmwares and some of thire desctiptions in the DOWNLOAD section of this page, under FIRMWARE.

Yes the FMP 1.8 and the 1.5 are slow after you've copied files to it.
Actually it is rather swift beforehand but once filled to near capacity it's 'snail slow'. It's all down to the capabilities of the main processor. Why do you think they are so cheap? Because the processor is cheap. So are all the other bits and pieces.
Compare it to a true iPod Nano. Those things burn rubber. Why? Because their processors and bits and pieces aren't cheap, therefore they are not cheap.

If you want a clone that is fast, expect to pay considerably more than what you would for a FMP... look for something in the vicinity of roughly half the cost of the iPod at the very least and some kind of brand name.

ok, ic. i'll look for a brand name. i'm sorry for my language also, i was very frustrated, that will NEVER happen again.

don't you think that flashing ur player with new firmware would be TOO risky. especially if you know it wont run on ur chipset. and i dont think that it would have that much to do with your firmware, i think it would be more ur processor, as _odyssey said.

so, does anybody have any experience with a "faster" nano clone, and similar speeds compared to a normal mp3 player? if so, what's the name of it, brand, model, where'd you get it, and what's the firmware version?

also, are you saying that 4 gigabyte FMP is fast? I would never be able to reach close to full capacity, maybe almost up to half.
