rockchip firmware
 

Hi,

I know it's a question that it asked a lot around here but i'm gona ask it again. Is there ANY firmware/software/themes/games/anything available for rockchip players at all? and is it possible to backup/extract the firmware from the player

My MP4 player has an firmware update function and came with this program (i belive version 2.4 is in the download section but this is 2.61) so i'm shure there is some firmware out there.

My mp4 has firmware version 00.01.0005 (2007-01-19) on it

This site actualy has some firmware for rockchip based players but it wasn't compatible with my "update tool".

Please post anything that just might help because when we have some working firmware we can try to modify it (theme's etc)

chriroz , none that i know of. And seriously, updating of firmwares won't give you any additional useful functions.

Unless your player is branded and has a website or store for support, any firmware-related thing is not recommended and done at your own risk.
