Skyblue SK-E2099, or E2099. Can't find anything else on it though.

mgatskie , the first link for the black 512MB player is a typical Actions chipset player. The functions would be similar to the usual nano-clones that many users have in here.

For the 2nd silver player, not much information in the ad, but looks likely to be again another Actions chipset player. But this would have a 1.8" screen as compared to 1.5" for the black player.

Why are clones called MP4 Players, when they don`t play .MP4 at all?
It`s like an MP3 Player which plays Music CDs only.

T39 doesn''t sound as good as my T29

Received my MP4 player. Yup it's Actions.

device = 'S1 Mp3 Player'
manufacturer = 'Wilson Co. Ltd.'
firmware type = 'F641'
firmware version = 3.5.37

No major problems with it at all. Just a 512MB MP3/AMV/WMA/Ebook/photo player with a nicer screen than I anticiapted and two (?) headphone kjacks and standard mini USB port. Response time to keypresses is like I've heard from others in this forum but these are players designed not to be sold in a regular store because you'd have people whining that don't know what they're doing. I am actgually quite pleased with it (14.55+4.97 shipping USD from excesories [ebay])

I want to try the other nicer looking menu firmwares that have more features but don't want to risk killing it. I've extracted my own and will upload it soon. I have the same problems converting video using AMV 4.09 too that others have. Plays for a few sec then quits.

Overall I am very, very pleased. the Sound is just as good as my $350 Iriver to my ears anyway ($350 20GB from 2005) I do however have the 4GB hack (was sold as 512MB though so was not ripped off) so I have to fix that yet. Only thing I wish this FW had was a custom EQ.
