1gb ipod nano?
 

instead of buying a nano clone, i would like to buy an iPod nano 1gb, and put linux or rockbox onto it. are 1gb iPod nanos real? if they are, does anybody know where i can buy them for the least amount of money?

Yeah...1st gen....I like first gen a lot more than 2e gen....cuz the new are ugly 8)

i kno that they have to be 1st gen, and i agree, the new ones are ugly. i figured out that the 1gb nanos are real when i looked at wikipedia.

you can still get 1gb nano's (real ipod ones) on many online stores, search on sites like http://www.nexttag.com or http://www.pricegrabber.com, these will list good stores that may still have 1GB iPod Nano's in stock

razzer001, thanx 4 the links. The iPod nano 1st generation 1gb costs 137 bucks! I saw one for 80 at eBay I think.
Instead of getting that nano, 'virginworld' is selling 1gb pink nano clones 1.8 inch screen for 34 bucks and a black 1.8 2gb costs 46 or something.
