Default EBAY Suspect list

Hi Binh.

Been awhile since I've been here.
Man how it's grown! Hope your hit counts and ads are up!
Would this be a good idea?
Start a list of ebay suspects that people can check PRIOR to buying?
There would have to be minimum criteria to be included in the list, such as:
1) Selling 4 or 8Gb players.
2) Negative feedback refering to hacked memory
3) Continues to offer this same merchandise for sale
4) Makes his past sales private so you may not track phony merchandise

Maybe some or all of those could the minimum needed to put the seller on the ALERT LIST.

Maybe make it a sticky so newbies coming here for the first time will see it right away before they buy.

As a start I would certainly add:

hitekgear - NEW SILVER 4GB 4 GB 4G MP3 MP4 VIDEO-PHOTO-AUDIO PLAYER.

And

wholesaleoffer - 4GB 4G DELUXE GLASS MP4 MP3 PLAYER FM VIDEO WHITE.

Read where he states:
"Build in Memory Capacity 4GB
Remark: The advertised memory capacity of this device represents unformatted capacity. Please note that once formatted and due to variations in flash module block limitations, the functional storage space will be lower than the advertised capacity...
"

BEWARE!

PS,

Also just came across this on ebay linking to your site. Is this a member here? (I think it's great, but should he have your permission?) : BEWARE 4GB/8GB MP3/MP4 PLAYER SCAM - SOFTWARE & GUIDE.

Great idea. But somebody already thought of it. Check the BLACKLISTED sellers thread and the mpxplayer certification thread. The guy in the eBay ad you mentioned is indeed a member here (should I be mentioning his name?). I didnt see where he was linking to this site in his ad, though. I think thats against eBay rules to do that. And he knows all about eBay's rules.... He did link to my guide, because that isnt against eBay's fascist rules. And if it wasn't against eBay's rules, I'm not sure if there's a "law" against someone on the internet posting a link to another site? (I'm just talking from a legal standpoint, not a moral one).

about the ebay linking policy: i talked to person at ebay live help a few weeks about links in listings. he can put a link to his ebay store and one link to a web page about more info. that web page can have only 1 link to his ebay store and no other advertising.

to get around the linking policy, ebay live said you can put up all the links you want to any site, excluding offsensive sites.

they are really strick on the linking policy. I guess no one has reported him yet or the audit team hasn't gotten to his posts yet.
