PC EMULATOR FOR MP4 FIRMWARE..
 

it came to my mind that if an mp4 player emulator* that will read dumps and emulate them before upgrading it to a real mp4? like a gameboy emulator that lets you play gameboy games on pc with a window like gameboy and playes with the A & B keys...

it has a tons of use like, you can check your modified firmware first on the emulator and will act just as an mp4 player but virtually in PC, like playing videos, mp3s and other stuff..its not an impossibility, we just need a good programmer, which happened that its not me, otherwise i could have made one..he3 i may not be the only one who have thought the program is existing..well if somebody knows if an emulator is being developed or possible..please let mympxplayer know...that would be of great help to future developers and mp4 modifying as well as troubleshooting..

The programmers of firmware for mp4 players may have something like this already. You can check whether or not a firmware file has the neccessary requirements within s1res. Bitmaps, text and code... Hey, maybe the next version of s1res can have the capability of actually 'running' the firmware file after you've modified it, before it's uploaded. hmmm...food for thought
