Uploading fw 9.0.43 on a 9.0.50 (monochromatic)

Is it possible to write a firmware 9.0.43 on a monochomatic 1GB "Sony" mp3 player with "REC" button with 9.0.50 firmware???

The 9.0.43 fw I got from this forum.

I didn't open my player yet, I'm a little afraid of takin it apart, and brake it. But if necessary, I will.

Here follows some info, gotten with s1fwx v3.2, which, of couse, wasn't able to download the fw from my player.

  firmware version = 9.0.50

The reason for doing this is that I can personalize the 9.0.43 fw, and cannot with .50, cause it's not possible to extract the fw from my player.

NO you can't. It isn't possible.

If your player is already running 9.0.50 it just will not accept 9.0.43.
You should really have a good search through this forum because this question has been answered many many times before.

9.0.50 and 9.0.43 have completely different drivers, code and instructions to each other. So forget the idea, it'll just kill your player. S1fwx.. any version of it, is not able to extract and repair 9.0.50..yet...

What would rather have? A working player with unthemable firmware or a dead one?

Please, I have a monochomatic 1GB "Sony" mp3 player with "REC" button with 9.0.50 firmware like yours. I got the dump.bin of my mp3 player with s1fwx but it doesn´t works when I tried recover it. Now it's dead. Could you send me the firmware to my email jorgehe@oi.com.br. Thanks!

Uh....AFAIK the current version of s1fwx won't extract 9.x firmware. So wait for the new tool.
