is uxcell's firmware full?

i downloaded the firmware for Full Metal Platinum from Uxcell.com. Is this firmware? and if so, is it safe to put it on my player?

Yes dude, they are all full firmware versions.

But not 'upgrades' for currently working players.

I wouldn't recommend using them unless your player is dead because even though they say they are... i know for a fact a few of them 'are not quite right'
Take the Full Metal Platinum 1.5 firmware at the bottom of the page for example. It's not for a 1.5 inch screen, it's for a 1.8. and the FMP 1.5 takes fw9.0.48 and that version on the site is 9.0.49
