Default Poll: How did you find out about this site?

Hi everyone,

I am very interested to know how you found out about this site.

I see a lot of messages like "I found out about this site after I've found my player had problems and has been hacked".

So, I would be very interested to know how you found out about this site. That way, I can find ways to improve the presence of this site on the internet. More importantly, find ways to get the message about this site and about hacked players out to would-be buyers and warn them BEFORE they buy that "8GB player for USD$50"! .

I had just purchased a player and was looking for conversion software as I wanted to be able to plug something onto it as soon as it came through the door.

I think the search was something like "MP4 player .avi conversion" or something like that.

Found it at google, and I think I entered terms such as "MP4 Players" and "Buy MP4 Players"

About 6 months ago i was looking online to buy a new mp3 player. I was looking at the popular and reliable Australian online discount store dealsdirect.com.au (no relation to deals-directinc.com).
I saw a link to Uxcell marked "cheapest mp3/4 players" advertised on thier site. I checked it out but wanted a bit more info before i placed an order. I entered a few search terms into Google and it brought me here.

I did some searching on the players, and found the site s1mp3.org. After looking for some themes, I found mympxplayer.org.

just like nachoman, I found the forum s1mp3.org first after I purchased my first mp4 player from campus111.com just about a year ago. Then I searched around some more because s1mp3 wasn't answering all my questions and found this site about a day later while looking for the video software that mp4 players used. It's been one of the best support sites I've ever found.

I bought a nano clone too hastily off of Ebay. Then I read the feedback comments and someone complained about a hacked" player and left this url.

After checking out this site and learning about all the hacks, I asked the seller if he could guaranty the memory... he couldn't so I was able to cancel the order.
Thanks

I bought a hacked player off of eBay. I couldn't figure out why I was having Format Errors when trying to play a video. I googled 'format errors on MP3 players' and stumbled across this site.

Could not stop my mp3 player from crashing and restarting after loading it up with large mp3 files.

So started to do a google search for info, and stumbled across this site via link on xobox
