Default [Nominate] Most helpful member

One of our members (deepakrr) made this great suggestion awhile ago. That was to run a "Most Helpful Member" award.

This site wouldn't have been so successful if it weren't for the contribution and help from it's MEMBERS.

I (and I'm sure everyone else) is thankful for everyone's help and contribution.

This is a very hard award to run as you all have been so helpful and have contributed a lot towards the site in more ways than one. It doesn't matter what you contribute, whether it's uploading a picture of your player, a comment/reply to a post, or uploading that tool/firmware that was included with your player. It is all very helpful.

So, with that said, I would like to take nominations for the "Most Helpful Member" award.

Here are the conditions:
  • Make THREE nominations
  • You can nominate yourself (once)
  • You can not nominate an admin or a moderator
  • Nominations close end of July
And here is the AWARD prize:
  • A USD$70 voucher to spend on anything at UXcell!
That's right, treat yourself to a new "Glacier", "Spectrum", "OMEGA" MP4 player or whatever player you want with the prize money.

Post your nominations in this thread. I will run it until the end of July.
After that, the top 5 nominations will be put in a vote for everyone to vote. The winner will win the award.

This is hard because you cant choose admins or mods

Ive seen alot of helpful posts from:
_odyssey
deepakrr
lattesurf

Robjones , i agree youve put alot of work into the stopping the scammers but im not too sure if that is what this nominations thing is about , But if im wrong youd be on my list.

Yeah admin if not for the "no voting for a mod" stipulation, you and taddad1 definitely would have topped the list . I nominate for most helpful:

1. lattesurf
2._odyssey
3. robjones, for his tireless effort to stop scammers by listing information on eBay

Thanks for your contribution!

I'm in agreement with the last post, and I also would like to nominate if I may

odyssey

lattesurf

RobJones

Lite you have made an edit and shot Robjones down, I think this is unfair an unwarranted by your comments

If if were not for unselfish people like Robjones making an effort, alot more people would have been scammed, and might I add he has financed his efforts all by himself, apart from donations from people and members of this forum which I was most happy to support

first i totally agree with all of the suggestions so far. what i like about this forum is that everyone here has a spiecal expertise for certain parts of the players and the solutions to the problems. i think every member is helpful and important. this forum is awesome.

I've Edited This Post:

I'm editing this post. I had suggested someone. I emailed them to tell them and they emailed back saying they are not a member. As much as I think they deserve a definite honourable mention, I took out what I said about them because they are not a member here. I still think this person is totally awesome for all their hard work with mpx players though.

@mekako , Nah im not that mean , I edited my post to include robjones into the equation. Although i agree he has comitted alot of his time the number of posts i see from him are nominal, Undergoing my judgement i say other users have helped alot more people above him, Considering this is upon helping people in contributions.

mekako - it's not that big of a deal that lite chose to edit robjones out of his nominations. Every member has to make their own choice who to nominate. I decided to choose robjones and so did you, but other people may think that others deserve to be nominated. It's nothing to argue over, really.
