Default uploading songs and I have an issue...

ok, so i got my mp4 player from lotsall today.

whilst uploading songs, i tried to just upload all songs at once. then it starting saying it could not after about 140 or so songs. so i created a folder, and added those 140 to that folder.

so i then start adding more songs to that folder and it goes on without a problem.

so i can only assume that you must have at least 1 folder for music?

you cannot just drag and drop into the players drive?

emmm...i think u can have many music folders in mp4...
and u also actually can copy and paste mp3 to the root of the mp4...it would not be a prob.

145 is the max it will take in the root.

if i make a folder, it will only take 145 as well before it starts getting wacky.

i am going to break my music down into folders of about 100 or so.

the reason why i wanted all music in one folder is to "random play" all songs rather than just the ones in that current folder

I've heard that some you have to break down into 99 per folder.

that could have been the problem as well....

however, every time i uploaded songs after i had reformated and determined it was hacked and is really 2GB it would show corrupted files no matter what...

so i used Windows, i have Vista, and formated to FAT32, and reloaded the song folders on and now, there are no more issues with corrupted files at this time

that was late last night, so we shall see how it goes later today as i use it
