Get him an apple ipod with video. The only thing that doesn't meet your criteria is price. But its well worth the money, every dollar.

You can't beat an apple ipod, a real apple ipod from a authorized brick and mortar store where you can see it and try it out.

There are so many fakes and scams and nasty sellers online selling MP3 and MP4 players it is worth the extra money to invest in getting your Father the best, and it will save you hassel and frustrations.

There are some very honest sellers with some great clones but for a gift, espiecally for a family member I say get your dad a apple ipod video. You can't go wrong. You'll have to pay more for it then a fake clone but it will be worth every dollar.

Thank you for your honesty but I live on my own and I don't have the money to spend on a real I Pod with video which would cost something like $250 or more.

I hope that wasn't a joke or insult. No but in all seriousness your right in some aspects. & that is the fact that my own father said "Just get me whatever you research to be the best at a low cost. I rather lose something with less value than an I Pod."

I can't lie anymore but he really wanted the Teclast T39. But I want to get it from a serious honest seller who won't sell me a fake. I need it to come in mint condition capable of working with firmware updates. With so many of these first run, second run, etc... I don't know where to go for what. He need's it in english and I want to be able to change things for him before I send it to him like the Intro splash screen that says www.teclast.com when you turn it on. I don't know how to do things like that but I'm willing to learn if anyone can give me the info. I am a serious computer geek so you won't lose me that easily. Lol! I build my own computers on spare time for money on the side so I know a lot about pcs and software. I've just never delved into the mp3 player side of things...

Hi superstar. Over at another thread we've been discussing a seller MP4Nation. He is a member here and is name on the forum is razzer001.

Maybe he has the player you are looking for or maybe he can get it. He sounds like a good seller. I googled him on found a lot of information on mp4nation. Some good, some not so good. But he comes highly recommended by the mod and admin.

Admin said about razzer001, "I am have been discussing with razzer001 about mp4nation sponsoring some prizes for our site as well. I have never bought from them but razzer001 has been on this site for awhile now."

hope this helps you finding a good seller. contact razzer001 and see what he says about the type of player you want.

superstar, I meant it neither as an insult or joke but as a real concern for your father. There is quite a high rate of iPod related muggings and snatch thefts, so much so that owners go to considerable length to disguise there players and avoid using the tell-tale trade mark white earphones.

Might I suggest you contact Tomas directly by email at tomas@houseofdap.com and ask for his assistance in recommending a player that would suit your needs. I have always found him to be most helpful and he would have hands on knowledge of all the players in your list and any problems his customers have met.

Wow thank you very much for the site address I will look on ww.sourcingmap.com and see if I can find a good deal on a Teclast T39 or other Teclast mp3 players because I don't have much money. I still pay rent and food on my own. Oh and yes many people are very rude to there parents nowadays and are bad children. That is the world we live in today unfortunately.
