Default Flash memory device prices set to rise?

There have been huge rises in Flash memory prices to Far East factories in recent weeks which could give rise to increases in prices for all MP4 players in the coming weeks. It could be a good time to buy. Check out this link.

No, it just can't be...

Oh well, if samsung's in trouble, why don't they switch to Hynix chips?

i checked with 5 manufactures and they said the prices have dropped. one manufacture said her company is buying chips to stock and use to trade later on.

in china memory chips trade like stocks in the u.s. buy low, sell high.

so i don't know where the word is coming from about prices going up but the 5 manufactures i emailed said the opposite - prices are dropping because there is no high demand and a stock pile of chips.
